As part of our CSR policy, looking after the community in which we work is important to us and this is most commonly done via raising money for charities as well as being part of giving back days.

This benefits us and our clients by allowing us to build on opportunities and reduce risks, so creating competitive advantage. It also ensures that we attract and retain the right people to deliver our strategy.

Fundraising is an important part of raising money for a good cause. Charities rely on donations in order to carry out any charitable projects that they have planned and without these, they would not be able to do the work that they do and many people in need would not benefit.
Everyone at LMS always digs deep and gives whatever they can, but in 2016, we thought we would do things a little different. Instead of having lots of charities being supported by LMS throughout the year, we have decided to condense our efforts and have one annual charity to support. Every donation matters but by doing this, it means that all of our hard earned pennies can go that little bit further to help change the lives of others.
For 2016, the annual charity is Chester Aid to the Homeless (CATH - www.cath.org.uk)
Lots of employers sponsor matched gifting programs and will match any charitable contributions or volunteer hours made by their employees. This year LMS has implemented this meaning that any money raised throughout 2016 for the chosen charity of the year be matched pound for pound by LMS, up to a maximum value.
We actively encourage our employees to volunteer for local projects by giving their time, skills and expertise. It’s a practical scheme and we have cemented it in place by giving every employee paid time off to contribute to local initiatives.
